CENTILENE® MESH, Non Absorbable, Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed), Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh is constructed of knitted non-absorbable filaments of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin (C3H6)n identical in composition to that used in CENTILENE® Monofilament Polypropylene Suture, Non absorbable Surgical Sutures, U.S.P. This material, when used as a suture, has been reported to be nonreactive and to retain its strength indefinitely in clinical use.
CENTILENE® MESH, Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed) Mesh Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh is knitted by a process which interlinks each fiber junction and which provides for elasticity in both directions.
CENTILENE® MESH, Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed) Mesh Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh construction permits the mesh to be cut into any desired shape or size without unraveling. The fiber junctions are not subject to the same work fatigue exhibited by more rigid metallic meshes. This bi-directional elastic property allows adaption to various stresses encountered in the body.
CENTILENE® MESH, Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed) Mesh Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh is available undyed in a variety of square and rectangular sizes as well as in specially shaped pieces for particular surgical procedures.
The CENTILENE® MESH, Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed) Mesh Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh is thick and full details are contained in the catalogue.
The CENTILENE® MESH, Non-Absorbable Monofilament Polypropylene, Clear (Undyed) Mesh Synthetic Knitted Surgical mesh has high burst strength and tensile strength.
