The sterile packed aortic punch is a disposable surgical single patient use instrument designed and used for the opening / produce a clean and circular opening in the layers of tissue in the aortic wall in order to prepare / facilitate an anastomosis for revascularisation, it enables a connection of tissues in the aorta. The superior sharpness facilitates a clean and safe penetration of the layers of tissue. Together with the punch the penetrated tissue is taken from the patient’s body.
