Application

CENTISORB Tri-PLUS are intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and /or ligation, except in ophthalmic surgery, neurological tissues. The safety and effectiveness of CENTISORB Tri-PLUS sutures in cardiovascular tissue have not been established.

The tensile strength of the suture progressive loss occurs as a result of a hydrolysis process that degrades the PGLA allowing the absorption & subsequent metabolism by the organism. The absorption of the surgical suture is practically complete in about 56-70 days after implantation.
